What is a long-term visit pass and how does it work?
A long-term visit pass is a visa that allows you to stay in Singapore for an extended period without obtaining another visa. It is mainly used by business people, students, researchers, and people who wish to spend time in Singapore on a short-term basis.
If you are planning to stay in Singapore for 5 years or longer, you have the option of applying for an ordinary working pass (OWP). For a validity of 5 years, a person must work full-time as an employee or self-employed individual (depending on the nature of his/her profession).
